Governor Braun has called for a Special Session for the purpose of redrawing our congressional legislative map. Whenever the Governor convenes lawmakers outside of the traditional legislative calendar, it is to implement a large or sweeping statewide change. Last time this happened resulted in the Indiana abortion ban; now it is to redraw the Indiana congressional maps to completely erase the Democrat representation in congress.

Republican Senators do not have the votes to advance this effort and seemingly do not want to. This means we have an opportunity to engage and make a difference. All the Dems are against this efforts, many Republicans are too.
