Who We Are

Women4Change is an advocacy group driving positive change for all Hoosiers, powered by the passion and dedication of our board members, committees, and staff.

We work towards progress on issues such as voting and elections, civic engagement, economic mobility, health and wellness, safety and security, and reproductive access. We connect people to resources and education on these issues, and also offer opportunities to get involved in advocating for our rights.

Together, we work toward a future of equity for all Hoosier women, and we welcome every Hoosier to join us in creating it.

Our Mission

We equip Hoosiers to engage in our democracy to achieve better outcomes in health & wellness, economic mobility, and personal safety & security for all women and girls in Indiana.

Our Vision

Indiana’s public policy achieves equitable outcomes for women and girls in all their diversity.

Advancing civic engagement & empowerment for Hoosier women since 2016.

Our History

In November 2016, a group of Indiana women felt that the divisiveness prevalent at the time of the election could tear apart our democracy. Those women, led by Rabbi Sandy Sasso and Jennifer Nelson-Williams, founded Women4Change Indiana with a vision to come together to harness the immense power of Hoosier women to lead change – change to a more civil, politically engaged community; change to a new norm in which women drive decisions on issues that affect their health and economic wellbeing; and change that creates a new paradigm in which all Hoosier women are equipped and empowered to work toward their dreams.

Meet Our Board

Established in October 2017, the Women4Change Board of Directors has been at the heart of our mission to create meaningful, lasting change for all Hoosier women. Our board members bring diverse expertise from across Indiana and ensure that Women4Change continues to amplify the voices of women in every community.
