Testifying at
the Statehouse
Interested in making your voice heard? We can help! Every legislative session, there are a number of bills that Women4Change tracks through the statehouse. For bills that we support, or for those that we are opposed to, we will put out calls to our membership to testify at the statehouse. While this can feel intimidating, we are here to help! If you have interest in testifying for or against a bill, regardless of whether W4C has commented on it or not, we are happy to help provide you with all the materials you need to feel prepared to speak out.

Our elected officials are supposed to represent us. They need to hear directly from you. Personal stories put a human face on policy decisions and help us advocate for meaningful change. Use the resources below to find your local representatives and make your voice heard.
Legislative Action Days
Throughout the legislative session, you may see us promote on social media different "lobby days" at the statehouse. Lobby Days provide opportunities for constituents to hear from legislators and community leaders regarding a specific issue, such as reproductive health. During a lobby day, constituents are able to sign up to meet with their legislators, as well as connect with coalition partners and fellow advocates!

Learn More About Our 501(c)4 Efforts
Women4Change Indiana Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to advancing the interests of Hoosier women through advocacy and policy change. They operate as a distinct entity from the 501(c)(3) organization, Women4Change Indiana, which focuses on education and resource provision.
