The Art of Politics is a one-night poster show and online auction. Over 60 local Indianapolis artists and designers create protest art & politically inspired posters. The posters will be on display and available for sale through a live silent auction.
Topics range across all political issues including abortion rights, climate crisis, religious freedom, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, gun control, for/against political candidates, voting, Black Lives Matter, and immigration. The event allows artists to stand up, speak out, engage the public, and support a cause. Any message they want to communicate, for any cause they’d like to support. It’s a free speech event, and all views are welcome.
100% of auction proceeds are sent to the non-profit organization of the artist’s choice. Every poster serves a different cause. Causes in the past have included ACLU, Planned Parenthood, The National Wildlife Federation, Women for Change, The National Park Foundation, United Against Book Bans, Teach Indy Now, and so many others.
