HANDS in Autism Developmental Disabilities/Autism ECHO webinar

Developmental Disabilities and Autism ECHO connects individuals and their comprehensive care system to subject matter experts for regular real-time collaborative sessions to advance learning and practice in serving individuals and their families.

During the webinar a subject matter expert (SME) does a presentation for approximately 20 minutes with some Q&A afterwards, then a case study is presented (using a HIPAA/FERPA protected template to guide the discussion). The SME and panelists then brainstorm supports and resources based on a few questions that the case presenter has. It’s a really great way to share information and support someone of any age in real time with concerns related to autism and/or developmental disabilities. It’s a safe nonjudgemental brainstorming environment where not only the SME and panelist, but anyone listening that day jump in to provide resources and supports.
