| Dear Changemakers,
Let’s be clear: our democracy is under attack—and silence is not an option. The right to vote is being chipped away, and the stakes for Indiana women have never been higher.
This election isn’t just important—it’s personal. Every ballot we cast is a demand for equity, a shield against injustice, and a declaration that we will not be sidelined. If we don’t show up, we get shut out.
Women in Indiana have always carried the weight of progress. Now it’s time to carry it to the polls. But before you go, use this email to plan and prepare. Inside it, you’ll find local petitions, national voter toolkits, and resources that enable you to use your voice to ensure you vote for elected officials committed to protecting the issues you care about most.
Vote like your rights depend on it—because they do.
Yours in Service, |

| | Across the country, voter suppression is on the rise—and it’s targeting the very people whose voices need to be heard most.
One of the biggest threats? The SAVE Act, which passed the U.S. House this spring. If enacted, it would force every voter to show specific documents—like a passport or birth certificate—to register for federal elections.
On paper, it might sound harmless. But in reality, it’s a calculated move to silence: Women, especially those who’ve changed their names after marriage or divorce, may not have updated records. Students, who often lack access to original documentation, live away from home. Elderly voters, who may have never needed certain documents and now face bureaucratic roadblocks to obtain them. Low-income Hoosiers, who may not have the time, money, or transportation to retrieve official documents from government offices.
This bill is not about election security. It’s about shrinking the electorate. And if it passes, thousands of eligible voters—especially women—could be shut out of the democratic process.
Take Action: Call your Senators and urge them to oppose the SAVE Act. Protect access to the vote for every eligible American.

| | While women vote at higher rates than men nationwide, Indiana continues to lag behind— ranking among the bottom ten states for voter turnout, with fewer than half of eligible voters showing up in midterm elections.
Even more alarming? Youth turnout in Indiana is barely 20%—even though young women are the fastest-growing bloc of new voters. That means power is being left unused.
This isn’t just about statistics. It’s about who gets heard—and who gets ignored. When women don’t vote, policies that impact our bodies, paychecks, safety, and futures are made without us.
Don’t sit this one out. Make sure your voice counts: Check your registration. Find your polling place and ID requirements. Set a reminder: Voter registration deadlines and early voting dates vary—make your plan now.
Representation starts with showing up. Let’s make it impossible to ignore Indiana’s women at the ballot box. |
