Rima Shahid -

Executive director

Rima Shahid has served as the first Executive Director of Women4Change since 2017. Rima is mandated to lead the implementation of Women4Change's mission to equip and mobilize women to engage effectively in political and civic affairs in order to strengthen our democracy and to advocate for the leadership, health, safety, and dignity of all women in Indiana.

Before her service at Women4Change, Rima served as the Executive Director of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana from June 2015- September 2017. A native Hoosier, she spent more than a decade in the Middle East and worked as Trade Development Officer & Cultural Attaché at the Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain. Rima brings a unique perspective and a diverse approach to community outreach objectives. She is passionate about bringing people together and working tirelessly for a better Indiana. She spends her free time volunteering for various local causes and serving on other nonprofit boards here in Indiana.

Rima lives in Central Indiana with her husband, Muneeb, and their three children.

Alysa villelli -

Communications and Community Coordinator

Lys is originally from Anderson, Indiana and has been living in Indianapolis for the past 4 years. Before coming on board with Women4Change, she was working remotely for a public relations firm based in New York City. She also has a background in freelance writing and social media management and is the co-founder of the lifestyle blog, Shades of Green. She is thrilled to be a part of Women4Change and hopes to be able to encourage enthusiastic civic engagement and advance women’s issues through her position.

Haley Bougher -

Education and Advocacy Coordinator

Haley Bougher began her service with Women4Change in January 2018. Haley is responsible for the planning and implementation of the educational programming and advocacy efforts of the organization.

Before Women4Change, Haley was the program assistant for the Desmond Tutu Center for Peace, Reconciliation, and Global Justice.

Haley is a native of Beech Grove, IN and a recent graduate of Butler University. She currently resides in the Garfield Park neighborhood and enjoys taking the IndyGo Red Line and biking to the office. In her free time, she serves as the head of the International School of Indiana's tennis program.
