Rima Shahid -

Executive director

Rima Shahid joined Women4Change Indiana as Executive Director in September 2017.  As Executive Director, Rima is mandated to lead the implementation of Women4Change Indiana's mission to equip and mobilize women to engage effectively in political and civic affairs in order to strengthen our democracy and to advocate for the leadership, health, safety and dignity of all women in Indiana. Within a short span of time, Rima has significantly enhanced Women4Change Indiana’s impact through outreach, commitment, and action. A native Hoosier, she spent more than a decade in the Middle East, and worked as Trade Development Officer at Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain. Rima brings a unique perspective and diverse range of approaches to community outreach objectives.

Alysa villelli -

Communications and Community Coordinator

Lys is originally from Anderson, Indiana and has been living in Indianapolis for the past 4 years. Before coming on board with Women4Change Indiana, she was working remotely for a small marketing and PR firm based in NYC. She also has a background in freelance writing and social media management and is the co-founder of the lifestyle blog, Shades of Green. She is thrilled to be a part of Women4Change Indiana and hopes to be able to encourage enthusiastic civic engagement through her position.

Haley Bougher -

Education and Advocacy Coordinator

Haley is a native of Beech Grove, IN and a recent graduate of Butler University where she studied religion and political science.  In her free time, Haley enjoys traveling as much and as often as possible. She is also the head of International School of Indiana's tennis program. She is serving a year as an AmeriCorps: Immigrant and Refugee Service Corps member where she previously worked as the program assistant for the Desmond Tutu Center and now, Women4Change Indiana.

Leah Grynheim-

Development Intern

Leah is a Junior at Indiana University Bloomington where she is majoring in Nonprofit Management with a minor in Art and Social Policy and a certificate in Political and Civic  Engagement (PACE).  Leah will be joining the Women4Change team for the summer and is so excited for the opportunity to back in her hometown of Indianapolis, especially when she will be working for a cause that she cares about. This summer, Leah will be focusing her time on building relationships with organizations and individuals in Bloomington, starting a branch of Women4Change on the IU campus, and assisting Rima and the entire Women4Change Indiana team.
